The main body material uses master-piece's original fabric "MASTERTEX-09™," which combines durability, water resistance, and water repellency.
Produced at a certified factory that meets INVISTA's CORDURA® brand fabric production and quality standards, this fabric is woven using 840d warp and 420d weft threads made from two twisted strands of Hollofil Air™ (66 nylon hollow fiber) aligned together, meeting CORDURA® brand fabric standards and offering strength against friction, tearing, and abrasion.
The back is coated with PU and laminated with a special moisture-permeable waterproof film, L-VENT®, to further enhance water resistance, creating a 3-layer structure with tricot nylon bonded to it.
The accompanying materials use two types of leather and fabric. The leather used on the front face is a carefully selected, fine-fibered raw hide tanned with oil to create a water-repellent velour leather finish.
Since there is no grain layer, it not only offers excellent breathability but also has added thickness for firmness. It features a unique surface with a warm, napped texture.
The leather used for other parts is carefully selected high-quality domestic steer leather. During the tanning process, a waterproofing agent made by "3M" is placed in the drum to penetrate deep into the leather.
Afterward, dyeing and oiling create the base, and the same company's waterproofing agent is sprayed during the finishing stage to further enhance water resistance.
This is water-resistant and stain-resistant leather that has passed 3M's "SCOTCHGARD®" monitoring test. Since the test is conducted even after the surface is abraded, the effect does not diminish over time.
Materials such as the bottom use INVISTA's 1680d CORDURA Ballistic® nylon, which has approximately 5 times the abrasion resistance, tear strength, and durability of regular nylon, with PVC coating applied to the back to further improve strength and water resistance.
Additionally, aside from the outer fabric, the cushioning inside the 5-layer shoulder pad uses lightweight, elastic EVA resin and Asahi Kasei Advance's Fusion®, which is also used in bedding and car seats.
Fusion® is an innovative three-dimensional knit fabric developed by Asahi Kasei, featuring excellent cushioning properties created by connecting two knitted layers with elastic threads. Its diagonal brace structure also provides excellent shape stability.
Additionally, the part closest to the body uses Outlast®, a temperature-regulating material developed for NASA, along with a soft, fine-mesh double raschel mesh.
In terms of storage, the bag features various pockets of different sizes on both the interior and exterior, considering usability for both on and off occasions.
